Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.5.4.1.1 - Search for information on ways sustainable energy choices and scientific ideas are used to protect the environment.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define sustainable energy and identify at least four sources of sustainable energy available in Ghana.
- Explain the greenhouse effect and describe how human activities contribute to it.
- Describe at least three sustainable energy choices individuals and communities in Ghana can make to protect the environment.
- Use information from multiple sources (books, internet, interviews) to identify scientific ideas that help reduce environmental damage.
- Present a simple plan for a locally sustained energy project that could protect their school or community environment.
