Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.3.4.LI.4 - Discuss the institutions responsible for maintaining road safety, the challenges they face and how these challenges can be addressed
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least five institutions responsible for maintaining road safety in Ghana and state the core duty of each.
- Explain at least three specific challenges confronting these road safety institutions, using real Ghanaian examples.
- Propose practical, workable solutions to address at least two challenges facing a given road safety institution.
- Work collaboratively in pairs and groups to research, discuss and present findings on road safety institutions and their challenges.
- Justify the need for citizens to support road safety institutions through responsible behaviour, based on the challenges discussed.
