By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Contribute words and ideas about changing weather conditions during group discussion
  • Dictate sentences about what they do in different weather, which the teacher records for a class text
  • Read the class-created informational text together as a group
  • Point to and name at least 5 new weather words (e.g., sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, storm) in the class text
  • Answer simple questions about the information in the class-created text
