Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.6.9.1.4 - Read level appropriate content sight words and use them to form sentences and also copy them in their books.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read aloud the weather sight words printed on word cards with accuracy: dry, cold, wet, windy, rainy, cloudy, warm, sunny, sun, water.
- Identify each weather sight word when shown a matching picture card and say the word independently.
- Form simple oral sentences using at least two weather sight words, such as “The sun is hot” or “It is rainy today.”
- Copy five weather sight words correctly into their exercise books with proper letter formation.
- Read a short simple sentence containing a weather sight word and copy it neatly in their books.
