Indicator: B9.6.1.1.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define the changing nature of the workplace and list at least three changes that have occurred in Ghanaian workplaces in recent years.
  2. Explain how automation, ICT, robots, drones and machines have changed the way work is done.
  3. Describe how these workplace changes create global competition among businesses and workers.
  4. Research and report on workplace changes from at least two different sources (interviews, newspapers, internet, or personal observation).
  5. Discuss findings in groups and write an individual summary of how workplace changes bring about global competition and technology.
