Indicator: B9.6.1.1.3 - Develop a career plan that would assist in the transition from school to eventual entry into a career option
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain why a career plan is necessary for a smooth transition from JHS to a chosen career path.
- List and describe the five steps in an effective career plan (identify options, prioritise, compare, consider other factors, make a choice).
- Develop a personal career plan using the five-step process, showing how it connects to their current schooling.
- Present their career plan to the class, explaining their choices in a clear order with relevant details.
- Work effectively in a group to share and refine career ideas before producing individual plans.
