By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define biomedical science in their own words, using at least two key features of the field.
Distinguish between biomedical science and related fields such as general medicine, pharmacy, and nursing by giving at least one clear difference for each.
Identify at least three misconceptions about biomedical science and explain why each one is incorrect.
Give at least two examples of biomedical science products or services that they have encountered in their daily lives in Ghana.
Describe, in one or two sentences, what a biomedical scientist does in their workplace.
