Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.3.4.1.1 - Narrate the stories of the birth of religious leaders
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Narrate the main events in the birth story of Jesus Christ as told in the Christian faith.
- Narrate the main events in the birth story of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as told in the Islamic faith.
- Describe at least one traditional belief about the birth of a religious or spiritual leader in African Traditional Religion (ATR).
- Identify the similarities in the birth stories of religious leaders, such as the role of parents and the special nature of the child.
- Role play a short scene from one of the birth stories to show their understanding of the events.
