Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.4.1.1.1 - Show good manners in the home, school and community

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define good manners and give at least three examples of good manners in the home, school, and community.
  2. Explain why good manners such as greeting elders, respecting parents and teachers, and helping others are important in daily life.
  3. Demonstrate through role play at least two appropriate ways of showing good manners in different settings.
  4. State at least three benefits of practising good manners, including how it ensures law and order and builds a good moral life.
  5. Write or share a short essay explaining why they should be courteous to others.
