Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.1.1.LI.1 - Analyse the meanings of government.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Recall and state at least three distinct meanings of government from their own words after a brainstorming session.
- Differentiate between government as an academic field of study, an institution of the state, and an art or process, using specific examples from Ghana.
- Analyse a given scenario and identify which meaning of government is being described, justifying their choice with supporting reasons.
- Demonstrate tolerance, courage, and loyalty by respectfully presenting and defending their own views on the meanings of government during class discussions.
