Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.3.3.1.1 - Explain fundamental human rights of a child

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define human rights in their own words as rights that protect the dignity and worth of every person.
  2. Identify at least five fundamental human rights of a child, including the right to life, right to family, and right to protection.
  3. Explain why these rights apply to all children equally, without discrimination.
  4. Compose a short song or rhyme that mentions at least three fundamental human rights of a child.
  5. Design a simple poster showing one fundamental right of a child using pictures and labels.
