Indicator: 2.3.2.LI.2 - Explain the functions of ICAO, IATA, FAA, EASA, etc.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Explain the distinct functions of ICAO and IATA and differentiate between their regulatory and trade-association roles.
Describe the primary functions of the FAA and EASA as regional and national aviation safety regulators.
Compare the functions of at least two international aviation organisations and identify where their responsibilities overlap or differ.
Analyse a real-world aviation scenario and determine which international organisation(s) would be responsible for addressing the issue.
Justify the importance of international cooperation among aviation organisations in ensuring global air transport safety.
