Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.4.2.1.2 - Identify people who have power and authority and respect them, as a responsible citizen
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least three people who have power and authority in each setting: home, school, community, and nation.
- Match each person in a position of authority to the correct setting where they belong.
- Give one example of a person currently occupying a position of authority in Ghana (for example, the President of Ghana, a chief, or their class teacher).
- State one reason why we should respect people who have power and authority.
- Demonstrate respect for authority through their words and actions during class activities.
