Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.4.4.1.1 - Discuss the application of various areas of artificial intelligence (Machine learning, Artificial Neural Networks, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Gamification)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define artificial intelligence and identify at least four areas of AI from the indicator (machine learning, artificial neural networks, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, gamification).
Match each area of AI to a real-world application and explain how it works in simple terms.
Discuss at least three uses and benefits of AI to Ghanaian society (for example, in healthcare, agriculture, banking and education).
Differentiate between virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality using familiar examples.
Present a short talk to the class explaining one area of AI and its importance to daily life in Ghana.
