Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.3.1.LI.3 - Present a short report on the exhibition mounted in relation to advanced finishing techniques.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key sections of a formal exhibition report (title, overview, techniques showcased, materials used, challenges faced, recommendations).
  2. Summarise, in writing, the advanced finishing techniques demonstrated in their mounted exhibition, describing at least three techniques with their purposes.
  3. Analyse the success of their exhibition by evaluating visitor feedback, organisational strengths, and areas for improvement using specific evidence.
  4. Present a short oral report (3 to 5 minutes) to the class, speaking clearly and confidently while making reference to their written report and the exhibited works.
  5. Reflect on how the advanced finishing techniques they showcased connect to functional and aesthetic purposes in real-world art and design practice.
