- Identify the features of a formal style in a model argumentative paragraph (no slang, no contractions, precise word choices).
- Rewrite informal sentences into formal sentences suitable for an argumentative piece.
- Distinguish between formal and informal language in given sentence pairs.
- Write a short argumentative paragraph on a given topic, maintaining a formal style throughout.
- Explain why a formal style is important in argumentative and persuasive writing.
