By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Suggest at least three simple guidelines for viewing a performance respectfully and attentively
Agree as a class on a set of guidelines for watching music, dance, and drama performances
Use the agreed guidelines to talk about how a short performance makes them feel
Identify the difference between describing what they see or hear and expressing how it makes them feel

Content standard: B1.2.4.6 - Demonstrate understanding of how to analyse, appreciate, appraise/critique and present report on own works and that of others based on established guide for judging artworks (the theme, subject matter, media, techniques, elements and principles of design, social, aesthetic, cultural and functional values), the recordings and reports
Indicator: B1.2.4.6.1 - Agree on guidelines for viewing and expressing feelings and thoughts about own and others' displayed performing artworks
Suggested placement: Term 3, Week 7 (Week 31 of the year)
