Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.4.2.2 - Observe and compare the uses of the different types of animals.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Observe at least five different types of animals in their community and record their uses in a simple chart.
Compare the domestic uses of two or more animals, stating at least one similarity and one difference between them.
Match at least five domestic animals to their commercial products and by-products, including animal waste.
Explain, with examples, how the same animal can serve both domestic and commercial purposes.
Evaluate information gathered from observations and decide whether each use they recorded is domestic or commercial.
