Learning Objectives
Indicator: 3.4.3.LI.1 - Analyse the link between agriculture and industry.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain at least three ways agriculture supplies inputs to industry using specific Ghanaian examples.
- Describe at least three ways industry supports agricultural production and processing.
- Trace the complete journey of one agricultural commodity from farm to factory to finished product.
- Analyse the circular relationship between agriculture and industry and explain why a weak link in one sector harms the other.
- Present findings from a farm or factory observation in mixed gender and ability groups, highlighting how the agriculture-industry link contributes to national development.

Experiential Learning: Embark on a fieldtrip to a nearby farm and industry/watch a video on farms and industries to observe and document the link between agriculture and industry for presentation in mixed gender and ability groups. Learners become aware of creating accessible environment for persons living with disabilities to be able to engage in agriculture and industry towards contributing to national development as responsible citizens.
