Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.3.2.3.2 - Perform continuous pull-ups.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Demonstrate a correct hanging grip on a horizontal bar with arms fully extended.
  2. Perform continuous pull-ups at their own ability level and at their own pace for as many repetitions as they can safely manage.
  3. Apply proper breathing technique (exhale while pulling up, inhale while lowering) during pull-up performance.
  4. Demonstrate perseverance by attempting to complete up to five continuous pull-ups, adjusting to their personal fitness level.
  5. Work cooperatively in groups to count, encourage, and give feedback to peers performing pull-ups.
