Indicator: B4.3.5.3.5 - Identify body types such as endomorph (big body), mesomorph (medium body) and ectomorph (slim body)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name the three body types: endomorph, mesomorph and ectomorph.
- Describe at least one physical characteristic of each body type.
- Sort pictures of classmates or sportspeople into the correct body type category.
- Draw a simple labelled sketch of each of the three body types.
- Recognise and state that people of all body types can be healthy and physically active.
