Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.3.2.3.2 - Perform continuous ‘v’ push-up
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct starting position for a continuous ‘v’ push-up, with legs straight, body in a ‘v’ shape, and palms flat on the floor.
- Perform three sets of eight continuous ‘v’ push-ups at their own pace without breaking form.
- Explain how the ‘v’ push-up builds muscular strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance.
- Self-assess their posture and alignment during the exercise and make corrections when needed.
- Persevere through fatigue to complete all three sets of eight repetitions.
