Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.3.3.3.3 - Perform two sets of eight continuous ‘v’ push-ups.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct starting position for a ‘v’ push-up, including sitting on the floor with legs straightened and spread into a ‘v’ shape, with palms flat on the floor.
- Perform two sets of eight continuous ‘v’ push-ups with proper body alignment and controlled breathing.
- Explain the importance of rest periods (4 minutes) between sets for muscle recovery.
- Identify the muscles used during ‘v’ push-ups, including the arms, shoulders, and core.
- Assess their own performance using a simple checklist and set a personal goal for improvement.
