Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.3.1.3.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Perform a continuous 10 minute dance routine with music at their own pace.
  • Identify the physical signs of aerobic exercise, such as increased heart rate, faster breathing and sweating.
  • Maintain correct posture and body control while dancing for the full duration.
  • Demonstrate personal commitment and self-management by completing the 10 minute dance without stopping.
  • Explain how dancing for 10 minutes improves their heart, lungs and overall physical fitness.
