Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.3.1.3.1 - Perform 5 minutes dancing with music.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Dance continuously to music for five minutes without stopping.
- Move different parts of the body (arms, legs, head, waist) in time with the beat of the music.
- Show coordination by matching dance steps with the rhythm and tempo of the music.
- Demonstrate flexibility by stretching and bending the body during the dance movements.
- Breathe steadily and keep going for the full five minutes as a form of fitness exercise.

Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
Organise a local dance with music and let learners dance for five minutes. Emphasis on coordination, timing, flexibility etc. Choose any music that is common in the locality. Record it and play or sing for learners to dance
