Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
1. Through role play or drama, learners explain investment and why there is the need to invest. 2. In mixed-ability groups, learners discuss the difference between saving and investing. 3. A. Learners listen to an invited resource person(s), such as financial experts or entrepreneurs, to share their experiences and insights on the various forms and types of investment opportunities available to citizens. OR B. Learners embark on field trips to financial institutions or businesses to get practical exposure on forms and types of investment opportunities for citizens. OR C. Learners conduct investment simulations or projects where they can practice making financial decisions and managing investments. 4. Through small group discussions, learners explain the importance of investment in personal and national development. 5. In small groups, learners discuss the forms of investment scams in Ghana.
