Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.3.1.LI.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Brainstorm and outline at least six characteristics of advanced finishing techniques from prior knowledge and research.
  2. Identify a community problem and select an appropriate advanced finishing technique to address it through an art or design work.
  3. Plan a short video presentation (2 to 4 minutes) that clearly illustrates the outlined characteristics of advanced finishing techniques.
  4. Produce a video presentation using available resources, such as smartphones or school cameras, that demonstrates at least four advanced finishing techniques effectively.
  5. Reflect critically on their own and peers’ video presentations, giving constructive feedback based on agreed criteria.
