Learning Objectives
Indicator: 3.2.1.LI.2 - Create innovative artworks and designs on sustainable development using both digital and other media ideations to show the relevance of sustainable living.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three SDGs that relate directly to environmental challenges visible in their local community in Ghana.
- Generate at least two original ideations (one digital, one non-digital) for an artwork or design that addresses a selected SDG.
- Select materials from their environment, including recyclable and non-biodegradable waste, that are suitable for producing a sustainable design concept.
- Create a completed mixed-media artwork or design that clearly communicates a message about sustainable living, using both digital and manual ideation processes.
- Present and justify their finished work, explaining how the materials, processes and message connect to sustainable development and the relevance of sustainable living.
