Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.2.1.LI.3 - Create multiple annotated mixed media presentations in preferred artistic formats as studio thinking for creating artworks.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and select at least two antique Ghanaian artworks and state the reasons for their selection as candidates for reinvention.
- Draw up a clear written scheme (procedure) showing the step-by-step process for reinventing one selected antique artwork using mixed media.
- Create at least two annotated mixed media presentations (one manual and one digital, or two manual works in different formats) that document their studio thinking.
- Annotate their presentations with labels, notes and short explanations that describe materials, techniques and intended effects.
- Present and explain their annotated mixed media presentations to the class, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
