Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.1.LI.1 - Identify and explain the function(s) of ICTs-software, and other Performing Arts technical production equipment used for performing / presenting / producing and recording the artistic product(s) in DANCE.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least six ICT software programs and technical production equipment used in dance production, naming them correctly.
- Explain the specific function of each identified software or equipment item in a dance performance, production, or recording context.
- Classify production tools into categories (sound, light, notation, design, and recording) and justify why each tool belongs in its category.
- Demonstrate, in groups, the correct setup of a rehearsal or performance space using available dance production equipment and ICT resources.
- Assess the effectiveness of different production tools for a given dance scenario and recommend the most suitable option with reasons.
