Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.1.LI.3 - Write publishable articles on topics related to ethics, safety and robot coexistence in society.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and describe the key structural elements of a publishable article (headline, thesis statement, evidence, conclusion) using examples drawn from robotics topics.
- Research and gather at least three credible sources on an assigned ethical or safety issue related to robot coexistence, and summarise the main points from each source.
- Draft a publishable article of 500 to 700 words on a selected topic related to robotics ethics, safety, or coexistence, incorporating a clear introduction, body paragraphs with supporting evidence, and a conclusion.
- Review and provide constructive peer feedback on a partner’s draft article using a simple rubric focused on clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness.
- Revise their draft based on peer and teacher feedback and prepare a final version for publication on the class display board or school blog.

Inquiry-Based Learning: In pairs, learners research and write and publish short articles in school magazines, online blogs, etc., targeted at demystifying the fear of Industry 4.0 technologies integration in human environments. Articles should be displayed in class for peers to read and comment. Assessment (2.1.1.AS.3). The document marks these depth-of-knowledge levels for this indicator: Level 3 Strategic reasoning.
