By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define the six climatic elements (temperature, precipitation, humidity, pressure, wind, and cloud cover) with accuracy.
Explain how latitude, altitude, distance from the sea, and ocean currents influence temperature in Ghana and the wider world.
Discuss how prevailing winds, air masses, fronts, and relief influence precipitation patterns.
Explain how cloud cover and humidity affect the daily temperature range of a place.
Participate in whole-class discussion, showing respect for diverse perspectives on how human activities and natural factors jointly shape local climate.

Talk for learning: Learners share perspectives on the factors influencing the various elements of the weather through a whole class discussion. Learners in group discussions should not forget the emotions people attached to religious, political and ethnic issues.
