Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.4.4.LI.1 - “Identifica y menciona objetos que hay en tu casa”

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and name at least 12 common objects found in a house in Spanish, using the correct masculine or feminine article where appropriate.
Respond to the question “¿Qué hay en tu casa?” by listing objects they have in their own homes.
Use the demonstrative adjectives este, esta, estos, estas, esos and esas correctly with house-object nouns, matching gender and number.
Describe what is visible in a picture of a room or house using complete short sentences such as “Hay una cama” or “Esta es la mesa”.
Work collaboratively in pairs to produce a labelled sketch of a house, naming the objects they have drawn in Spanish.

Rompehielos(Icebreakers):
- Dibuja tu casa en una hoja de papel
- ¿Qué hay en tu habitación?
- El profesor/la profesora muestra imágenes de algunos objetos que se encuentran en una habitación típica. Luego pide a los aprendices que mencionen los objetos que ellos tienen en su habitación.

Actividad 1

Initiating talk for learning: El profesor/la profesora muestra vídeos/imágenes de objetos en una casa. Pronuncia las palabras y los aprendices las repiten.

Building on what others say- Stimilus activity
¿Qué objetos hay en esta casa? (El profesor proyecta una imagen de una casa con muchos objetos). Luego el profesor pide a los aprendices que mencionen los objetos que se encuentran en la casa proyectada.

Estructura gramatical:
- Los adjetivos demostrativos: este, esta, estos, estas, esos y esas.
- El profesor/ la profesora puede indicar el adjetivo demostrativo apropiado según género y número de algunos objetos en una casa.
Por ejemplo: Esta cama, esta mesa, este espejo,el sofá, estas lámparas etc.....
