Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.2.5.LI.1 - Habla sobre lo diferente/ parecido que eres de tu amigo/amiga. (Expresión oral)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and state at least four physical and personality adjectives in Spanish to describe themselves and a friend, with correct gender agreement (e.g., alto/alta, trabajador/trabajadora).
Form comparative sentences using the three structures: más + adjective + que (superiority), menos + adjective + que (inferiority), and tan + adjective + como (equality).
Orally compare themselves with a classmate, producing at least five complete comparative sentences that include both physical descriptions and personality traits.
Respond to a partner’s comparison by building on what they said, using phrases like “Además, yo también soy…” or “En cambio, yo soy más…” to extend the conversation.
Present a short group comparison of two people to the class, demonstrating Level 3 strategic reasoning by justifying their choice of adjectives and comparative structures.
