Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.2.LI.1 - Haz presentaciones sobre las actividades de ocio de tu comunidad. (Expresión oral)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and name at least six popular leisure activities in their own community in Spanish, using correct vocabulary and expressions of frequency.
Describe their own leisure habits and those of their family members using the present tense and time expressions such as “los fines de semana”, “por la tarde” and “siempre”.
Prepare and deliver a short oral presentation (about 8 to 10 sentences) on leisure activities in their community, with clear pronunciation and appropriate pacing.
Respond orally to simple questions from classmates about their community’s leisure activities, demonstrating comprehension of the questions asked.
Use comparative structures at a basic level to contrast two leisure activities, preparing the ground for next week’s detailed comparison lesson.
