Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.1.LI.2 - Pregunta a los demás lo que hacen durante su tiempo libre. (Expresión oral y escrita)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Ask at least three different classmates what they like to do in their free time using the question forms “¿Qué te gusta hacer?” and “¿Qué le gusta hacer?” with correct pronunciation and intonation.
Respond appropriately to questions about free-time activities using verbs like “gustar”, “encantar”, “interesar”, “fascinar” and “importar” with the correct indirect object pronouns (me, te, le, nos, les).
Conduct a short interview with a partner and write down two questions and two answers about free-time activities in complete Spanish sentences.
Report back to the class what a classmate likes to do, changing the indirect object pronoun correctly from “te” to “le” (e.g., “A Kwame le gusta jugar al fútbol”).
Distinguish between asking one person (“¿Qué te gusta hacer?”) and asking a group or an elder (“¿Qué les gusta hacer?” / “¿Qué le gusta hacer?”) and use each form appropriately in a role-play scenario.
