By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define manufactured boards and distinguish them from solid timber in their own words.
  2. Identify and name at least five types of manufactured boards made from wood residues.
  3. Identify and name at least three types of manufactured boards made from non-wood residues.
  4. Match each type of manufactured board to the raw material from which it is produced.
  5. Describe briefly how at least three types of manufactured boards are produced from their source residues.
