Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.4.3.LI.2 - Identify the challenges and solutions of industrialization.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List at least five major challenges of industrialization in Ghana and other developing economies.
  2. Categorise the challenges of industrialization into economic, social, and infrastructural groups.
  3. Propose at least four practical solutions to the challenges of industrialization, explaining how each solution addresses a specific problem.
  4. Work collaboratively in mixed gender and ability groups to brainstorm challenges and solutions, and present findings using PowerPoint.
  5. Evaluate which solutions are most feasible for Ghana given its current economic conditions, using strategic reasoning to justify their choices.
