Indicator: 3.2.1.LI.1 - Describe Economies of scale and Diseconomies of scale.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define economies of scale and diseconomies of scale in their own words with accurate economic terminology.
Identify and explain at least four internal economies of scale and two external economies of scale available to firms as they expand production.
Describe at least three types of diseconomies of scale, including managerial and labour-related diseconomies, with clear examples.
Explain the relationship between a firm’s scale of production and its long-run average cost curve, including the concept of minimum efficient scale.
Research and present real-world examples of economies and diseconomies of scale from Ghanaian industries using internet sources.
