By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define total utility, marginal utility and average utility in their own words.
- Compute total utility, marginal utility and average utility from a given set of data.
- Sketch accurately labelled curves for total utility, marginal utility and average utility from computed data.
- Explain the relationship between the shapes of the total, marginal and average utility curves.
- Interpret the point at which marginal utility intersects average utility and where total utility reaches its maximum.
