Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.2.2.LI.1 - Describe Supply and identify the types of supply.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define supply in economic terms, distinguishing it from the everyday use of the word “supply.”
- Explain the difference between individual supply and market supply, giving a Ghanaian example of each.
- Identify and describe at least four types of supply (market supply, joint supply, composite supply, and short-run versus long-run supply).
- Collect data on supply from sellers in the school canteen or a nearby market using a simple ICT tool such as a spreadsheet or a data collection app.
- Present a short group report on the supply data they collected, showing respect for the sellers and for group members with different views.
