Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.2.1.LI.1 - Explain the meaning of factors of production.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define factors of production as the resources used in the production of goods and services.
- Identify and name the five factors of production: land, labour, capital, entrepreneurial ability, and technology.
- Explain the distinguishing features of each factor of production in their own words.
- Classify given resources (e.g., a cocoa farm, a sewing machine, a carpenter, a business owner, software) into the correct factor of production.
- Research information about the factors of production using search engines and present findings to the class with clear examples from Ghanaian businesses and daily life.
