Indicator: 1.1.1.LI.2 - Identify various career prospects in Economics.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List at least six distinct career prospects available to someone who studies Economics.
  2. Describe the main duties or activities associated with at least four different economics-related careers.
  3. Explain how the study of Economics prepares a person for careers in banking, government, business, and international organisations.
  4. Work collaboratively in mixed ability and gender groups to research and present one economics-related career to the class.
  5. Reflect on how their personal interests and strengths connect to possible future careers in Economics.
