Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.5.2.LI.1 - Create a pie chart showing the sectors of Agricultural production and enterprises and the extent of human interaction.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and describe the main sectors of agricultural production and enterprises in Ghana (crop, livestock, fishery, and forestry).
- Explain the extent of human interaction required in each agricultural sector, using specific examples from production to marketing.
- Collect and organise data on the number of people involved in each agricultural sector in a given community or enterprise.
- Create a pie chart that accurately represents the relative proportions of human interaction across the sectors of agricultural production and enterprises.
- Interpret a pie chart to draw conclusions about where human effort is concentrated in agriculture and justify those conclusions orally or in writing.
