Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.3.2.LI.3 - Describe the interactions within the various key stakeholders in the commodity value chains.

  2. Explain, with at least two concrete examples, how one stakeholder’s actions affect the work and returns of another stakeholder in the chain.
  3. Dramatise a realistic interaction between stakeholders in a maize, cowpea, or cassava value chain, showing correct flow of produce and information.
  4. Trace the journey of a single commodity, such as maize or cassava, from the farm to the final consumer, identifying each point of interaction.
  5. Evaluate one weak link in a Ghanaian arable crop value chain and suggest a practical improvement that involves better interaction between two stakeholders.
