Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.4.1.LI.4 - Make an effective presentation of scientific information on a healthcare issue.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key structural elements of an effective scientific presentation on a healthcare issue.
  2. Apply criteria for designing clear and informative presentation slides, including appropriate use of text, images, and data.
  3. Deliver a short oral presentation on an identified healthcare problem using correct scientific language and clear articulation.
  4. Evaluate a peer’s presentation using an agreed set of criteria based on content accuracy, organisation, and delivery.
  5. Revise their own presentation based on feedback received from the teacher and classmates.
