Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.3.2.LI.1 - Identify the various forms of therapy.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define therapy and state at least three broad forms of therapy used in healthcare delivery.
- Identify and describe at least five specific types of therapy (e.g., physiotherapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, psychotherapy, hydrotherapy) and explain what each one does.
- Categorise given examples of treatments into the correct form of therapy with justification.
- Give a personal example of a therapy they or a family member has experienced and classify it correctly.
- Work collaboratively in mixed-ability groups to create a mind map showing the various forms of therapy and present it to the class.

Experiential Learning: Invite a resource person to give a talk or teacher should deliver a PowerPoint presentation on various forms of therapy. Collaborative Learning: Based on the talk, work in groups to identify the different types of therapies, and consult books and other relevant sources to categorise them into the various forms of therapy. Activity-Based Learning: Individually write short notes on the various forms of therapy based on the presentation and the sources contacted.
