Indicator: 2.3.1.LI.2 - Discuss professional preparation of career pathways in Health Education
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Outline the academic and practical steps required to enter at least three different Health Education career pathways.
- Explain the role of certification, licensing, and continuous professional development in Health Education careers.
- Compare the professional preparation requirements of two different Health Education pathways (e.g., nursing and health promotion).
- Discuss, in small groups, the preparation journey for a preferred Health Education career pathway and present their findings to the class.
- Reflect on their own interests, strengths, and SMART goals in relation to a chosen Health Education pathway.
