Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.3.LI.2 - Discuss the factors that promote positive mental and emotional health
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least five key factors that promote positive mental and emotional health, such as social connection, physical activity, adequate sleep, healthy diet, and stress management.
- Explain how each factor contributes to positive mental and emotional health, using at least one reason or mechanism for each factor.
- Discuss the role of community, family, and cultural support systems in Ghana in promoting mental and emotional wellbeing.
- Evaluate personal habits and routines to determine which factors they currently practice and which they need to strengthen.
