Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.1.1.LI.1 - Explain sexual and reproductive health and its impact on health and wellness.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define sexual and reproductive health using their own words, covering the physical, emotional, mental, and social dimensions.
  2. Identify the key components of sexual and reproductive health, including puberty, reproductive systems, relationships, consent, and prevention of infections.
  3. Explain how sexual and reproductive health directly impacts overall health and wellness, giving specific examples.
  4. Create a concept map showing the relationship between sexual and reproductive health and the components of wellness.
  5. Discuss the importance of accessing reliable information about sexual and reproductive health in a respectful and gender-neutral way.
